Busy Burr, Vice President of Innovation and Head of Humana Health Ventures, is an award-winning, global leader in corporate innovation. Naturally, she got her start by picking strawberries.

Busy is one of Silicon Valley’s 2016 Women of Influence, as recognized by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. They’re the 100 women making the biggest impact across all professions in the Valley.

The newspaper has profiled this year’s winners, and you can read more about Busy here.

From her office in Palo Alto, Calif., Busy leads Humana’s Strategic Investments and Innovation Partnerships to enable transformational innovation in health care.

Before coming to Humana, Busy led large-scale innovation efforts as Global Head of Citi’s DesignWorks. She’s also spent time at Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse First Boston, Gap Inc, eBay and as CEO and CMO of Silicon Valley start-ups.

She stretches her creative muscles by performing in the Bay Area comedy improv group Subject to Change.
