Why does Humana's website say a doctor is in network and the doctor says they're not?
A provider's contact information on Physician Finder is obtained from the provider. Providers are responsible for notifying us of updates as they occur. In most cases, if inaccuracies occur, it is because a provider has supplied incorrect information or has changed their information without sending a correction to Humana. Please feel free to share this information with us, so that we can forward your comments to our Provider Relations Department. They will investigate the inaccuracies you mention and update the information as appropriate.
Also, provider's contracts may change at any time depending on different circumstances. Feel free to reach out to us directly to verify the provider's status, or assist with locating a new one of they are no longer in network.
