How do assign a Primary Care Dentist from my Humana DHMO online account?

Unfortunately, the Primary Care Dentist change is not one that can be made through your online account. With that said, our customer service team would be happy to make this change on your behalf.
If it is easier, you can send us an email through your MyHumana Communications center, or reach out to us via the Chat service.
One thing to make note of - Primary Care Dentist changes received before the 21st of the month will become effective the 1st of the following month. Changes received on or after the 21st of the month will become effective the 1st of the subsequent month.
I am trying to set up a PCD for my daughter. She doesn’t currently have one assigned and this will be her first assigned PCD. We are needing to get her seen soon because she is having some problems. Can I take her to a dentist in network prior to her being assigned a PCD?

I completely understand. In this instance, we would want you to give us a call (800- 233- 4013), email us through your MyHumana communication center, or utilize our chat service. By doing this, we can process the update and have the primary care dentist reflected prior to her having services rendered to ensure benefit coverage.
Where would I go to utilize the chat service?
If the chat option is available for your plan/area, you will be able to access it through your MyHumana portal. Upon signing in, you can scroll down to the gray area at the bottom of the page. From here, click on the Contact us and support link.
You can also select the Contact us link in the upper right hand corner.
The contact methods will be listed there for your use.
