I wanted asked for a list of providers who are in the network, and was provided with a list of 1000+ doctors. I was told that the list is updated every 72 hours, but it is my reasonable doubt that it may not be the case. There are 30+ doctors listed on each page, and I had to go through the entire first page before I could find a facility/doctor that would accept Humana. It is not perfect client experience to go through a long list of phone numbers one by one, denied again and again after being put on hold for ten minutes, until you could finally find that one doctor who is actually in the network. Besides facilities that do not accept Humana, there are phone numbers that are no longer in service, or phone numbers that go to a different doctor than the one listed in the search. This huge amount of work shouldn't be done by me. It should be done by Humana. It doesn't help that the Humana Benefit Service keeps reassuring me that the list is up-to-date, because it clearly is not.
If your list is not up-to-date, it is not. Please get it fixed!
