I went into anaphylactic shock at the doctor's office in Austin, TX and an ambulance was called on my behalf. I was not given the option to decline the ambulance or to choose what ambulance company was called. Humana has deemed the ambulance Out of Network and the bill is left to me at $909.10. I filed an appeal and the result was an adjustment that somehow still leaves me fully responsible for the $909.10. Is there anything that can be done considering this was not a service that I consented to?
