I went to the hospital on 11-24-2019 with stabbing chest pain and shortness of breath. They did a scan and found I had pneumonia and pleural effusion in the left lung. They sent me home with antibiotics. I felt I was getting worse after a few days and went back to the hospital. Pneumonia had grown, and they admitted to the hospital on Thanksgiving day, 11-28-2019. I had three chest tubes put in and stayed for 12 days. I was charged 250.00 twice for the visits to the hospital. I have met my out-of-pocket deductible. I feel I should not be charged for the second hospital visit because they sent me home instead of admitting me. I thought when I met my out-of-pocket, that I wouldn't have to dig in my pocket to pay for something. I feel the 500.00 I paid should be reimbursed. What are the chances of that?
