I have 2 of 4 claims that list an estimate of the "Your Share" of the claim cost. All 4 claims have a processing status of "Completed." I do not recall paying my shares off which is why i am confused.
Good morning, I can certainly see where this may seem misleading.
The claims status strictly refers to the processing by Humana versus the payment being made to the provider.
Payments are made between you and the provider directly. This means, that, when it shows "completed" on Humana's end, this simply means your insurance has finished processing. We would then send an explanation of benefits which will provide details as to how it was processed.
From here, the provider would bill you with your patient liability amount.
