New year...same problem as last year. I did NOT add an FSA account this year due to issues I had last year. BUT my HSA account is still inactive even though the FSA has been paid back in full from the direct deposits. The money was taken out in January for a bill that occurred in 2018 that was never intended to be applied to my FSA. BUT when it was received, the used the full FSA amount and then put both my FSA and HSA temp inactive until the FSA was paid back.
after speaking with the “chat team” I now have to wait up to 14 days for them to review and “maybe” remove the hold on my money. This has been such a difficult experience over others I have ever had in my past!
