There are some inversion tables that say you can use an HSA account if approved by a plan administrator. How do we find out if we meet the requirements?
Humana members may use Health Savings Account (HSA) funds to pay the cost of medical equipment items and supplies that are medically necessary to treat or to prevent disease or impairment.
You may find qualifying expenses for your spending account on the IRS publication 502.
Here's a link to the document found on the IRS.gov website: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p502.pdf
Thank you !
I didn’t see anything in there about inversion tables. Is it considered preventative?
The IRS document reflects categories of items and not specific items.
For further assistance with qualifying expenses, please contact your spending account administrator / bank.
