This medical deductible carry-over credit applies to processed claims and not necessarily to any payments that you have made.
As noted on your specific plan Certificate of Coverage document:
Annual deductible carryover:"If a covered person incurs covered expenses during the last three months of the current year that areapplied toward the satisfaction of the deductible for that year, those same covered expenses will also beapplied toward the satisfaction of the deductible of the next year. This deductible carryover does notapply to the out-of-pocket limit for the next year."
